Viktor Frankl Changed the World
In 1945, within months of his liberation from a concentration camp in Nazi Germany, Viktor Frankl sat down to write a book. He was forty years old.
Before the war he worked as a successful psychologist in Vienna. It took him only 9 days to write his manuscript. A book that had positively affected hundreds of thousands.
His book tells the story of the unfathomable horrors and suffering he endured as a prisoner at Auschwitz, Dachau and other camps, the primary purpose of the text is to explore the source of his will to survive. Victor decided to be the difference and that not only saved his life but also countless others.
The book, titled Man’s Search for Meaning, went on to sell over 10 million copies in 24 languages. He also is known as the founder of logotherapy, which is a form of Existential Analysis, the “Third Viennese School” of psychotherapy..

- Keep Informed. Know what is going on in your industry or with your cause. Become an expert. Study what success is, and learn from those that have gone before you. Emulate them within your own life. But most importantly learn to show others how to do the same. Failure is only a step to success!
- Understand the causes, signs and consequences negative influences in your life. Be aware of the pitfalls, especially concerning you and your family. Make small achievable changes and celebrate them.
- Stay engaged with your family, friends, classmates, teachers and community.
- Get inspired. Do things that you love and that push you to your limits.
- Be kind to yourself and others. Patience and tolerance of other peoples shortfalls will give you great opportunities for personal growth. Anger and frustration only hurts oneself.
