Children’s Society Meeting With Chris
Currently living on the southwest coast of Devon in the UK. A small seaside town of Torquay, UK.
We continue his story from Part IV
The Reveal
This is where the “BIG REVEAL” comes into play.
Adam had suggested that they both do some background investigation work into Chris’s past when he lived here from 1961 to 1965.
They knew from Bernardo’s of the Children Society and that it was connected somehow to the Church of England.
So Chris called the Children’s Society in London, where their main office is located.
Chris thinks he actually found a picture of the building in London, where his Mum dropped him off at.
The meeting did not happen for few weeks, as the Children’s Society had to schedule a psychologist to come down from London to their office here in Torquay. They also had to have their research team go to work looking for anything concerning Chris in the old files. There are many.
It was their policy that when this type of occurrence happens they debrief the affected person involved. That was Chris. And man, was he ever affected.
She, the counsellor came with a record book of 242 pages.
That is correct -242 pages of detailed information on all l aspects of Chris’s life during and before he was taken and admitted into the system at the Children’s Society.

Quite detailed and comprehensive in nature. Revealing to sat the least!

Every Single Detail
Pages filled with every single detail about how and why his Mum did what she did. What she did, and what she didn’t. There are handwritten letters from his mothers.
All the correspondence going between Chris’s caregivers at the children’s home and his mother.
The caseworker reports, reports on his health from a medical professional. The actual Baptism application. Blood tests and other vaccination records.
Doctor visits and other health concerns were reported. Most importantly are the many details concerning his mental and emotional state as a child. Both with his mother and without her in his presence.
Mostly this was observed right after she would return him back to the home with all the other children.
Mother’s Status
All the kids back at the home wondering how he was when he got back from wherever he was.
They were many locations he was placed at with his mother and at times with family friends of someone his mother knew.
Very hard to pinpoint any specifics from the reports.
The was more than once a noted report of issues and red flags raised.
When you read the very first report. It will describe his mother’s status and overall issues on why it was she could not keep Chris. Many more reports speak of her emotional stability and mental status.
It states clearly that she was disturbed and was unable to make decisions concerning little Christopher.
Please take a look a the files and images, read and look at them carefully. Ask yourself if you in good conscious would return him to his birth mother.
Most reasonable people would absolutely not allow her to gain his custody under her stress and difficulties with her life. They classed her as being very unstable.
Force Multiplied Harm
However, their well-founded and serious concerns, somehow she convinced the good people at the Children’s Society that she and her new husband could provide a wonderful life for little Chris is the USA. As in all appearances would look absolutely like a perfect solution to his mother’s problems.
And so they did. They allowed his mum, his mother to reunite with him for a second time. Maybe this time it will stick.
There are many short notes on that one single topic. Whether or not she should have Christopher back or not, as her distress was noted as well as the boys.
There he was, scared and afraid. Even in the presence of his own Mum. All he ever wanted was to be loved and have fun. Be with his friends and play. Go to school with all the others kids. He love school and getting Gold Stars for stuff, games, and lessons they did.
Also, the schooling back then was a bit stricter than we see in the schools of this time.

CLICK_CLICK_CLICK. Chris stated once that when this happened. When she left him.
Crying out to her as she walked away. He cried out, “Mummy Mummy, NO Mummy”.
He has always wonder how and why it happened. Was he a naughty baby boy? Did he deserve it? What happened?
Now please understand that now
Chris has the truth as the layout of the written facts.
Recorded and documented in the official record, he has a very special understanding of her.
He does love his Mum, I know 1000% he loved her.
She was as powerless as he was in trying to battle his addiction, but she tried!
Many times putting herself and her husband, Chris’s Dad Carl, in the pathway of its destruction wrath.
Once, she jumped out of their car during a red light.
His car was again out on loan to the local friendly neighborhood crack dealer. This time it was a ford Pearl white Thunderbird 2-dr. Coupe. Nice one Chris!
Reactive Attachment Disorder
He knows full well that back then, no one knew or ever thought of things like mental illness being established as a very young child.
Reactive Attachment disorder. What’s that? Childhood trauma. OK then!
She did everything she did to survive on her own, without the ability to support herself and me at the same time.
First-line in the Report History – “Christopher is the illegitimate son of a couple who lived together for 7 years but never married.”
Later it reports that his mother Maria was still married to another man when she met Chris’s father.
It was only when she got pregnant that his birth-father agreed to live together with her.
They had struggles staying in one place. She shuffled Chris from place to place, nothing stable enough to call a normal stable home environment.
It is as much of a heart-breaking story I have ever heard. Heart-breaking but also amazing and incredibly and understandably easy to follow and comprehend as it is mainly from real-life experience, backed up with “The Real McCoy”. The actual official documents.
Unable to provide stability and security and the fact she was just having a difficult time in general she was left with no option but to let Christopher go.
Most Difficult Decision A Woman Can Make
So she made the most incredible and difficult decision a young woman can make. To give away her flesh and blood, to let her son, Christopher go!
The sad fact for all concerned was that once the damage was done it could not be reconciled.
It was not until Chris discovered the information about RAD, ACE’s, and Childhood trauma that he was able to finally live in peace.
In peace with both himself and her.
There was always an issue with their relationship up until the day she died when he was able to speak with her for the very last time. He spoke with her as she lay dying in her wonderful home in Houston.
He told her that he loved her very much and that he was very happy and that he would be OK.
And that she soul relax and let go. That was his final last word with her. Mum you don’t need to suffer anymore. You can relax and just let go. I love you, Mum.
She had been holding on to life, in long-term hospice hoping her little boy would be safe and secure.
He forgave her in his heart and let her know it was all OK. He had 4 months sober. That was 2009.
Successful and Happy!
Our story, though all the troubled waters of Chris’s life ends up being a fantastically good one!
A great and miraculous story of a man’s return to his homeland.
A man that lived so many different lives and survived the perilous journey to tell the tale!
In 2009 Chris took his last drink and has successfully fully recovered from his destructive alcoholism and enslavement to drug addiction.
As well as making peace with his past. Now a 40-year addiction survivor, today he is over 12 years sober and very happy!
As a matter of fact, Chris told me that his new life back in the UK is the beat his life has ever been. EVER!!!

Today, living in the UK, Chris is the Director of his own company, Chris France Media Ltd., and continues his work and advocacy for all things recovery.
Recovery from all issues. He prefers using a term that makes sense, #RETURNING_TO_LIFE.

They both together are responsible for over 50 websites that mainly deal with helping those seeking a solution for their problems with drugs and alcohol.
They also have many commercial sites from various industries. I’m sure Chris will tell you guys about the all someday. He likes to talk. He can talk a lot.
MediaWorx Online is a collection of work that both Adam and Chris, as a team, have managed to design and develop. Adam is the primary designer and web engineer.
Chris, he does all the social media content and helps with the management of many of the site.
There are a few that Adam keeps to himself. What that really means is Adam does most of the work and Chris does most of the talking….
