Passport To His New Life!

Currently living on the southwest coast of Devon in the UK. A small seaside town of Torquay, UK.

We continue his story from – Part II

UK -The Homeland

On the way to his new hometown, Torquay, with his friend Adam.

He saw and felt something he has known, felt and yearned for most of his life. He was just unable to believe and give it 100% trust. Allow it to run the show. The “Directors”, he calls the entities, which exist there in his “Spiritual Universe”.

Chris calls his spiritual concepts or idea, “The Spiritual River”. Learning to teach and “Master the River“ is his quest.

He believes that his part of his purpose to learn and show others it is real. This spiritual realm of existence is, in all reality, is all we should to know and understand here on this earth. On this wonderful planet and in these prolific times.

“Let the River Flow”, is what he says. Maybe someday he will tell us all about that one.

I have a very strong feeling about this “Spiritual River” concept. A “Realm”. That it must be very real as explains almost everything concerning his life and possible hundred’s of millions of other dealing folks dealing with addiction without a solution or remedy.

Maybe What We All Need

Maybe all children need to, whoever’s child it is, and as part of their required education, they should be taught what it is the be a good person. That simple!

What we have been doing, primarily in The United States of America.

ABC’s and 123’s and the indoctrination of the young infant’s hungry minds, very vulnerable and extremely impressionable.

Baby’s Little Brain

A child’s brain undergoes an amazing period of development from birth till three years old. Children’s brains undergo an amazing period of development from birth to three – producing 700 new neural connections every second. By the age of five, the brain is 90% developed.

Our little baby brain act just like a home computer, device, or smartphone. Or maybe a brain made from potters clay. Push your thumbprint into the soft fragile clay. As it dried and hardens it becomes almost totally permanent.

When ready, the molded form gets placed in the furnace and becomes glazed permanently.

The infant brain, like the dust on a butterfly’s wings. Once damaged it is never repaired.

Self-Tech-Me is Coming Soon!

Soon, very soon, placing or uploading directly into your brain’s circuitry and mainframe architecture. Putting information into your physical self through various methods like a nano-chip or micro-implant.

More and more devices are creeping into our lives with at advent of 5G and all it infrastructure. Smart People hooked up internally will soon be a norm for the human race. Imagine a device installed into your brain circuits.

The Calling

A calling, a drive and most importantly the very true experience which he has shared with us. It is not unusual for those living free from the harms of substance abuse to become helpers by writing about their recovery experiences.

Sharing their success with others hoping it is of help to them. Many refer to themselves as a recovery advocate of one form or another. Recovery Coaches are becoming more well-known as well.

Chris’s insight to tell his story. To tell us all now and in this present time. So candidly and openly honest. Painfully and rigorously honest.

He said he can’t mince words! He told me, that telling and sharing his story with us is easy compared to living it.

This is a story that must be told and passed on to others. He believes he was meant to do so as he has survived and fully recovered from his long 40-year struggle with addiction.

Kids Need Trust and Hope

Traumatized children need hope as well as a feeling of being safe, secure, as well as loved. Not lost and alone. Effective help for children that experience early trauma requires intervention, which most often occurs too late. After the damage is done.

In Chris’s case, this is the fact. He struggled with permanent abstinence for 30 solid years. In and out of recovery suffering from substance use disorders of all types, coupled with alcoholism and severe ongoing mental health concerns.

From 1979 through 2009, as well as a short breakdown in 2015 back in Houston, Texas at the Powerhouse Recovery Center.

Community is one of the primary benefits of our program at the “Power House”.

He worked and helped out with the guys in their program. This defiantly will be a future post from Chris.

Loss is a universal human experience which we all encounter and, although it may be painful, successful resolution of loss is part of normal development.
Trauma, however, results from events outside normal human experience. Experience’s which overwhelm usual coping mechanisms.
It is associated with terror and helplessness and often involves a feeling that the they are in a serious risk situation.
Many kids in care experience severe neglect in their earliest years.

For Chris, he could never find a solution about the issues concerning his infancy and early childhood.

Amazed Me Even More

I don’t know how this story of Chris’s life could get any more incredible, but it does!

After Chris landed his friend Adam Mitchell was waiting in the international arrival terminal of Gatwick Airport, south of London. Now Chris walked with newfound confidence up to the passport scanners and raised the passport and stood for photo verification.

A red sign flashing, go to go, sir!

“Welcome Home We Missed You Since You’ve Been Gone”

A sign in the airports terminal flashed to welcome returning citizens of the UK.

OK, real quick this is what happened on the trip home to Torquay.

The Drive

The drive was going to be around a 4 hours drive of which Adam had planned to drive back. He planned on taking small country roads. He liked the back road as he wanted to show Chris his new beautiful and scenic country. Instead of the hustle and hurry on the busy motorway. Much calmer and much more scenic.

For the very first time in Chris’s life at the age of 60, he felt like he belonged.

As well as the feeling of being back home where he always wanted to be, but never thought possible.

Now what they both did not expect was a snowstorm was hitting the south of England that day, when he arrived. Later that night Gatwick had to close to clear off the landing strips.

Adam was driving an Austin Mini Cooper at the time and the road became snow-packed. Traffic came to a halt as hundreds of drivers became stuck on the roads.

The Spiritual Realm

Here is more from “The Spiritual River”. Chris once told me that in while in America during the first 8 years of his sobriety he lived in sober living homes. First a a resident, then a manager, and then an operator of his own sober home. For all that time, he never felt quite right about sharing his true spiritual beliefs and ideas with anyone, ever!

His understanding of the “Spiritual Realm” is not your ordinary or socially acceptable religious philosophy or normal common theory.

Spiritual Consciousnesses

It does not come from this world. Chris also believes the inner spark or what most call a soul comes with us when we arrive here. It also goes back with us when we depart this existence we know as human life.

If we as humans consider ourselves to be so called “Spiritual” and having a “Spiritual Consciousnesses” and that “Spiritual Beings” come from the Spiritual Realm.

Commons basic logic. His real understanding of the “God Idea” or “God Concept” and his “Spirituality” is eternal. Without time! In the amazing place of Chris beliefs, time does not exist. There is no time in eternity. Not governed by it nor measured.

Many religions, most in fact, have river which have various spiritual meanings. Some as a metaphor, and other actual river which flow through heir lands.

The Jordan River, as well as the The Ganges River are just a few.

He also believes that we are all eternal. Every man woman and child that has been , or ever will be. He states clearly that we are all included regardless of our individual religion beliefs.

He thinks there is such a thing as “Spiritual Magnetism” An attraction.

It is your souls energy which very measurable. As when a body dies, it looses weight. Weight is mass and the mass is the energy or soul being release form its failed body. He says that whatever is inside your soul when you cross over is what will go forward with you.

We die with our own Self Made Heaven or Hell.

The Druids

So when I mention Stonehenge, those of you that know, it is a mainly pagan Druid’s Spiritual Center. A place of connection. Chris understands it as if it were his Holy Land! Many years before our standard religious culture where even close to becoming the dominate dogma, people from Great Briton and surrounding Country’s and Kingdoms would come to gather one a specific date to celebrate the coming harvest.

Each year on the 21st June people from around the world gather at Stonehenge, as they did in ancient times. It was to mark the summer solstice and to see the sunrise above the stones. At dawn the central Altar stone aligns with the Slaughter stone, Heel stone and the rising sun to the northeast.

The white cloaked and hooded druids gather among the standing stones to celebrate the summer solstice at dawn. They joyously welcome the first rays of the sunlight
by tapping the heel stone while chanting “ARISES “O” SUN”, amidst the early morning dawn chorus of the birds.

Stonehenge Summer Solstice

The Stonehenge Summer Solstice is a very popular event to attend and people from all over the world gather at this ancient site to witness and be part of an age-old ritual.

Religion and science have been around for a long time. But now they are being replaced by spirituality.

Different people from different lands, by the hundreds of thousands made it an annual journey.

A trek like the pilgrimage to Meca that middle eastern religious folks have.

It an annual sign of ones faith, trust and spiritual devotion, as well as a healthy community commitment.

Chris really has never told anyone the fact about his Pagan beliefs. or in public speaking in a meeting.

Only one other man Adam, his friend is aware of the significance it has with him.
